More room for you: new customer centre at our Kiel head-quarters

Kiel | 03rd June 2011. For some years now it has become more and more obvious that the Kiel headquarters, which were purchased over 20 years ago, would soon reach their limits in terms of space. For customer support and production in particular, the building was bursting at the seams. The expansion is now complete: on 1st June DESIGNA acquired an additional building in the immediate vicinity, which will be converted in the coming weeks and months. We plan to move in in August.
The heart of the facility will be the new DESIGNA customer centre, with generously propor-tioned training rooms and excellent technical equipment - the ideal environment, in other words, for familiarising customers with every level of our state-of-the-art parking technologies. A new, prestigious reception area and showroom will help set the right tone and help bring DESIGNA's product range to life.
The company's production and storage capacities will also be significantly expanded in the new building. This will enable us to continue to optimise the entire manufacturing process and to gradually increase our production volumes in line with current forecasts. This will be at the same time as meeting increased quality standards. Additional storage space will also make it possible to plan production and dispatch with greater flexibility.
The official inauguration of the new building will take place during this year's DESIGNA partner conference on 22-23 September. We are very much looking forward to launching a new era in the company's history with you!
